As a Screener in a busy healthcare location, you will welcome patients, visitors, and staff, support entry procedures, and help identify potential security-related concerns through observation, communication, and reporting. You will conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help reduce incidents, and deliver customer service with calm professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Screen individuals entering the facility by verifying identification, confirming appointments and/or authorized access, and directing visitors to the appropriate check-in area while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas for unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized access and promptly reporting concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete required documentation such as access logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
