As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and track visitors and deliveries while maintaining a professional, visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with site teams to help identify concerns early and help to deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, managing visitor and vendor logs, and directing incoming and outgoing traffic to approved areas.
• Screen and document inbound and outbound activity such as deliveries, pickups, and trailer or container movements, and assist with maintaining required logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
