Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, professional communication. You will support store teams and guests through strong customer service, timely reporting, and teamwork, while bringing integrity and reliability to every shift in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, associates, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with management, and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the sales floor, back-of-house areas, receiving docks, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter theft, disorderly conduct, and other policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas, observing customer and associate activity, supporting loss prevention efforts, and maintaining post orders and access control requirements.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and patrols in written reports and logs, and communicate observations and trends to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Baton Certification is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
