As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, assist staff and visitors with directions and questions, and communicate concerns promptly and professionally. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and/or staff at a government services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public service partners as needed.
• Monitor access points and help to manage authorized entry by observing visitor flow, checking credentials when required, and directing individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
