As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. This is an armed and driving post, supporting security-related operations with professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, loading and receiving zones, and exterior perimeter, as assigned.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspected theft, medical calls, and fire or alarm activations, following post orders and escalation protocols.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access control concerns, and policy violations; help to discourage unauthorized activity through high-visibility presence and verbal de-escalation.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and coordinate with store management and law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
