As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support riders and staff with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, trespassing, suspicious activity, and/or medical situations, and coordinate with site leadership and local responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials when required, assist with traffic and pedestrian flow, and support fare dispute de-escalation and/or lost property inquiries in accordance with post orders.
• Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations and status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• A handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
