As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate concerns to the appropriate contacts, and deliver a welcoming customer service experience for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and actions per site protocol.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, lobbies, and restricted areas, assisting with visitor management procedures and directing employees and guests as needed.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Support security-related screening and package or property control procedures as required by site policy, while maintaining a professional customer service approach.
  • Operate site communication systems, including radios and phones, to coordinate responses and request assistance when needed.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports with clear, factual information in accordance with site requirements.
  • Assist with emergency response activities such as evacuation support, fire panel notifications, and/or medical response coordination per site procedures.
  • Work in various indoor and outdoor conditions during patrols and post assignments, with duties that may vary by shift and location needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
