What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aero and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, documenting, and escalating security-related concerns per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, corridors, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas by observing badge use, verifying authorization as directed, and assisting with visitor check-in and/or contractor routing in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
