As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, coordinate visitor and driver check-ins, and maintain clear activity logs. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with team members and site personnel, and help identify security-related concerns early. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at gates, entrances, and dock areas by verifying identification, checking credentials, and processing employee, contractor, and visitor sign-in and/or sign-out per site requirements.
• Screen and direct vehicle traffic for inbound and outbound shipments by checking truck paperwork, confirming appointment details, and coordinating entry and/or staging with site contacts.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, and/or alarms, and document security-related activity, exceptions, and incidents in written logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed to help maintain order and help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
